just so you know the world record is not 58.1, there is no way it's that low. That would mean I have the world record.
no, it means you (and hundreds of others) haven't gone through the proper channels with proper officiating to officially hold a world record.
Guiness hasn't updated their site, but the top recorded Standing Jump was recorded at some 4'8" or something:
