Daisy May is a Filipino Seattle native, with a love for sports since childhood. In 2013, CrossFit was the key that unlocked her favorite sport, Olympic Weightlifting. She’s been competing on the Local, National, and International circuits since 2016 (you can find her medals hanging in the gym).
After joining Foundation in 2019, Daisy’s enjoyed never-ending fun on lifting platforms, and she lives within a short distance to consider Foundation her 2nd home. As a coach, she genuinely delights in celebrating and finding every athletes secret power! She believes in everyone’s potential to be better every day, making the impossible possible, and is thrilled to share her knowledge of weightlifting.
Outside the gym, you’ll spot Daisy snowboarding powder, petting dogs, and obsessively hunting for the perfect croissant/pizza/beer/ice cream. Her newest challenge is re-learning piano and violin. She’s got corny jokes, floss+toothbrush recommendations, and likely willing to be your +1 to a concert.
Daisy’s been in healthcare for over 20 years — starting in the ER and Pharmacy, and the last decade as a Dental Hygienist.
