This first week of October we start off with some heavily-influenced-by-the-course-I-attended-this-weekend strength work, two classic CrossFit benchmarks, two of the Team Series events, a deadlift max, and rowing workout.

Also we will be sharing a lot of information about our Fall Nutritional Challenge which begins next week! Some of our experienced athletes are starting on some of their nutrition plans now, but we’ll help out all those who are new to the foundation that is nutrition!

back squats 4×6

then, with a barbell loaded to 45-50% of your max deadlift:
– 15 cleans for time.
– 12 cleans for time.
– 9 cleans for time.

Rest as needed between each set.

Post times for each set of cleans to whiteboard / comments!

A. 3 rounds for time:
800m run
80m double kettlebell rack carry, 2×32/24kg
40 air squats

B. for time:
50 strict pullups
50 strict ring dips

C. 5 minutes for max distance handstand walk

D. ABMAGGEDDON

A huge thanks to the support crew who came out including but not limited to Eli S, EJ B, Jaime M, Olga C, Jo K, Tina L, and everyone who watched it on facebook live! Many PRs, qualifications for the American Open Series, and a 3rd Place finish for mama Vicky!

This past weekend Gabrielle and Vicky both competed at the Trident Classic 2017 Weightlifting Meet at Trident Athletics down in Tacoma. It was their first competition, in the Open and Novice division respectively.

Gabrielle qualified for the American Open Series 2017 with her performance. Vicky took a podium spot in the Novice Divison. Wish them a congrats next time you see them!
