Supporting Our Community

This year’s event will benefit Lambert House and Entre Hermanos, two incredible local organizations serving LGBTQ+ youth, individuals, and families throughout our community.

At Foundation Gym, we believe fitness can be a powerful vehicle for connection, support, and positive change. Lift Heavy Love Strong is our opportunity to bring people together, celebrate Pride, and raise meaningful funds for organizations doing important work every day of the year.

πŸ’– Why We Lift

This year we are fundraising to support to two vital nonprofits in our local community:

  • Entre Hermanos – Empowering the Latino LGBTQ+ community through healthcare, legal support, and advocacy
  • Lambert House – Providing LGBTQ+ youth with a safe, affirming space to grow and connect

πŸ’ͺ A New Format for 2026

This year marks the biggest evolution of the event yet.

In previous years, athletes signed up in pairs and competed in a more traditional fitness competition format. While those events were incredibly successful, we’re shifting the focus in 2026 toward something even more inclusive, collaborative, and community-driven.

Athletes will register individually and be assigned to one of four large teams after registration closes. Throughout the morning, teams will participate in a series of fun fitness challenges and events designed to encourage teamwork, participation, cheering each other on, and celebrating together.

Think less traditional competition and more community field day energy.

  • Team-based fitness challenges for all levels
  • A Clean & Jerk max event
  • Four drag queen emcees and performances throughout the event
  • Team fundraising competition
  • Community celebration and Pride festivities
  • Plenty of opportunities to cheer on friends and teammates

Most events will intentionally mix athletes of different skill and strength levels, emphasizing teamwork, encouragement, and community over traditional competition.

πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Who’s Invited?

Compete, participate, volunteer, cheer from the sidelines, or simply support the cause, we’d love to have you involved. Everyone is invited!

Friends, family members, and outside athletes are welcome to join us.
